LibDems win funding for Market Towns Initiative

The Market Towns Initiative, as scheme to provide funding towards regeneration projects in the inland market towns was put forward by the Liberal Democrats in the negotiations on the 17/18 budget for North Norfolk District Council and was accepted by the Council's cabinet this week. 

Each town was able to bid for £100,000 to spend on projects enabling them to take part in the development of their economic future. The money comes from a total pot of £400,000.
